PROGRAME CONTENTS

Full Time Classes are mainly intended for international students coming to the UK with the main purpose of Learning English, and are ideal for those wishing to improve their English for professional, academic or social purpose.

The language training programmes consist of a minimum teaching of 15 hours per week. The courses include grammar, conversation, writing skills listening, reading skills, academic writing skills, information technology, British Culture.

Trinity ESOL examinations are offered in December, March and June. Examinations entry forms are available from the information Desk. There is an entry fee payable for all examinations.

What Is Expected of You On The Programme?

There is an emphasis on both group and individual work throughout the programme.

Continuous assessment to check on your progress.

The opportunity to be entered for the English Speakers Board examinations and IELTS.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROGRESSION ON COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAMME

Provided you have made good progress and achieved the necessary standards of English, you may proceed onto a mainstream course. Pathway First Language College will assist students in their progression onto a First Degree programmes and Masters programmes in the following years intake.

United Kingdom entry levels for English are 5.5 IELTS classification for undergraduate and post graduate courses. Pathway First Language College will assist students to achieve the desired entry requirements of Universities in the United Kingdom.

Refund can only be issued if Pathway First Language College closes a class without providing an alternative or if your visa is refused.

All students must be 18 years of age or over. Proof may be required. Pathway First Language College has the right to refuse admission
